On behalf of the EGR Group, I would like to wish our staff, customers and suppliers all the best for 2007.
One of the stories that broke in early January is that EGR received notification of its achievement of registration for the international quality certification known as ISO/TS 16949:2002.
This significant milestone means that EGR is one of the select few corporations in this country that supplies automotive manufacturers while holding the most up to date internationally recognised quality certification. Well done to all who were involved in this project!
EGR News is a corporate magazine that covers all the facets of the EGR Group’s activities, and in this edition we discuss in detail some of the aspects of the Group’s technical capabilities.
One of these areas deals with the ever growing range of manufacturing techniques that the company is using to manufacture new ranges of products that are being continually added to the company’s product lines. In many respects our overview continues on from our previous articles that covered the uses and types of modern plastics in the world around us.
Allied to this subject is an exploration of one of the company’s unique advantages in having a manufacturing infrastructure that ties all its key technologies together under the one corporate umbrella.
As well, EGR News would like to congratulate our Display Division for its ongoing success in being awarded by its peers for its innovative POP designs.
All in all this is another highly informative EGR News and we trust that you enjoy its stories and the focus on some of the interesting pastimes that our staff get up to. To some of you, we are sure that these will come as a complete surprise.
