EGR DISPLAY DIVISION

EGR is about to launch its first generic range of displays, a move that  aims to tap into a specific market and lucrative business opportunity for the Display Division.

Separate catalogues of more than 70 generic display products have been developed for mid-size companies in the Australian and international markets. A distribution network is also being finalised in preparation for the launch.

According to Daniel Fois, Business Development Manager of EGR Display Division, the initiative is a response to demand by businesses that don't have the marketing resources and budgets of multi-national companies, but still want high quality display design and presentation.

While EGR's Display Division continues to design and manufacture displays based on client briefs, there are many purpose-made tools produced and funded by EGR that are often used once, then shelved.

As a result of this new direction, mid-range companies will soon have much greater choice in the range of display materials available to them.

"The major benefit for our clients is that they can order lower quantities of a very innovative display, but at a reasonable cost," Daniel said.

"In the generic range, we will offer a comprehensive selection of floor, counter, wall/aisle, poster/graphic and outdoor displays and it will be a simple matter for our clients to browse through the catalogue, select the product and quantity they want, and place an order through our distributor."

Daniel said the introduction of a generic range would also benefit EGR, assisting cost reduction, greater production efficiencies and improved planning.
